This trailer for upcoming side-scrolling Zombie game Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days, shows some amazingly smooth animation and fluid visuals. It's unfortunately brief but we do get a look at how individual survivors gain traits from every action they do and those nightmarish situations they find themselves in. I am hugely excited by this game, not only because of the detailed Zombies and old-timey 1980, Texas setting but also because of the super-rare visual style - most modern games are afraid to restrict the player's movement to the two dimensional plane. There is no release date yet but you can expect a demo to be available in October.
