This wonderful game announcement was the winner of E3 2018 in my opinion - Dying Light 2, the underdog, the one you weren't expecting, a Volatile, charging in and pouncing on you as if from nowhere. I loved the original Dying Light so news of the sequel immediately got the severed Zombie heads rolling. The super-slick action seems much the same; running and jumping around the city of Harran, fighting off enemies with improvised weapons - there are no true glimpses of the legendary Zombies just yet but there's no doubt that they'll be making a comeback. One intriguing new feature, the subject of this video no less, is the choice and consequence system which may have been inspired by Telltale's hit Zombie game series of The Walking Dead. However, in Dying Light 2 the consequences for the choices you make are far more substantial, affecting the entire city around you in breathtaking dynamism.
