I'm definitely scraping the bottom of the brain barrel to include this fine fellow from Return of the Living Dead: Necropolis as a memorable Zombie - the film itself being a bit of a shambles in terms of quality. Indeed, Mowhawk Zombie is only in the movie for a handful of seconds; a dead body in a sealed tank, re-animated by the evil villain when 2-4-5 Trioxin gas is pumped in. He never breaks free, kills anyone or does anything other than eat some brains that are dropped in his chamber (is this not enough?). However, his appearance, with his immaculate, large golden mohawk does make him striking; a ghoul you would not easily forget, one that harkens back to the, more-rotted, mohawk Zombie used in promotional material for the original Return of the Living Dead. In addition, we don’t often see Zombies with well-kept hair, re-animation from the grave and extreme exposure to the elements, usually causing havoc with undead hairstyles.
