To be honest, the memorable Zombie in this week's update is a bit of an unusual choice; I mean, everybody into the living dead will know about Bub and Tarman but Fido - he is definitely an odd one. Portrayed by Sir Billy Connolly (his Zombie acting clearly playing a major part in his eventual knighthood), Fido is your typical deadhead; feral, slow and stupid, with a taste for human flesh. However, in the world of Fido - the movie titled with the name of its star Zombie - almost every feral Zombie has been rounded up by a mysterious organization called ZomCon Corp. and equipped with a special collar that both pacifies the ravenous beast and makes it so they follow orders from humans, essentially, the Zombies are now just pets for the living to adopt or a very rudimentary workforce. After being 'bought' by the Robinson family and being tasked with menial household chores, Fido's collar inevitably malfunctions - leading him to cause a minor Zombie outbreak as he bites and eats the neighbours, who bite and eat their neighbours, and so on, and so forth. This outbreak is quickly quelled by ZomCon who later threaten to destroy Fido as a defective 'product'. The family comes to Fido's rescue and, later, when the family get threatened by ZomCon, after having reportedly grown to attached to their adopted Zombie, Fido actually stands up (a task very hard for some ghouls) against his former captors and helps save the lovable Robinsons. See, even in death, loyalty still applies - good boy, Fido, good boy.
