DESCRIPTION:
Here is a photo of the Z'Oscar I was awarded in 2018 by the good folks at Castle Horror for Best Studied Zombie; basically, a recognition of all my work researching and writing about Zombies. Castle Horror, if you don't know them, are a team of volunteer scare actors and airsoft fanatics (acting as soldiers) that host scare events in Dundee and nearby areas. I was fortunate enough to be welcomed to their team as a Zombie actor in 2017 and I cannot express how much I love it (I would definitely recommend going to some of their events when you get a chance). Winning an award, although fully aware that it's only a 'jokey' thing, is super groovy - what an amazing way to mark the 5-year anniversary of The Dead Times!
