Zombie Nativity Scene

DESCRIPTION:

This Zombified Christmas Nativity scene is the second iteration of the developer's work - a massive up-scaling on last year's attempt. The scene contains a Zombie Joseph and Mary, a little baby Zombie Jesus grinning menacingly on hay-topped pedestal and three glorious Zombie kings (coincidentally, I played a king in a High School nativity play though, sadly, the non-infected version). I love the attention to detail and, of course, the entire Zombie take on well-honoured festive imagery. However, the large-scale depiction has not been as well received by everybody - appearing in the news due to an apparent denial of building permits. It is suggested that some deeply religious people are also offended by such a central Catholic visage - the birth of Christ - being tarnished by Zombies. I, for one, am grateful a brave individual stood up against the stereotypical views of modern culture, celebrating this festive period in the best way possible; with the living dead. Merry Christmas Zombie-fans and happy New Year - if the Zombies rise, it could be the last time we see such grand celebrations so make 'em count!
