DESCRIPTION:

Zombies are everywhere. Military and SWAT officers do their best to handle the situation. Fearing death (or undeath), two SWAT officers pull out of the fight and with a bunch of civilians in tow, setting up a defensive perimeter in a massive shopping mall.

MY VERDICT:

Probably Romero's best work and certainly the most well known. Without the heavy effects of modern day movies or anywhere near the budget, the Zombies are not the gruesome freaks in today's media. Despite this, I heartily recommend Dawn of the Dead - it should be considered required viewing for every Zombie fan.
