DESCRIPTION:

You, playing as one of three characters, are shipwrecked on an isolated island chain that is home to hordes of mindless Zombies of varying speed, Zombified animals and other undead freaks. Few people inhabit these cut-off lands but one of them, Kovac, has left pages of a survival guide scattered about - it will tell you, not only how to survive in this hostile place, but also how to lay down some pain on the wandering undead.

MY VERDICT:

I like this isometric, arcade hack and slash game, giving it a slightly above average rating. It is very light-hearted, throwing out all the niceties like stunning visuals, randomised terrain, quality voice-acting, believable characters and interesting story. The gameplay though is enjoyable, if a bit simplistic and repetitive. If this is enough for a worthwhile game then How to Survive is for you, otherwise, I'd probably give it a miss.
