DESCRIPTION:

Live through the first days of the Zombie apocolypse of the infamous comic books as a entirely new hero, Lee Everett. Released episodically, deal with everyday situations in a life after the rise of the walking dead such as encountering other survivors (some nicer than others), distirbuting limited rations amoung your group, thinking fast as Zombies approach and resolving heated arguments. Every decision you make changes the events of later episodes.

MY VERDICT:

This game is excellent and my "Game of 2012". It won the coveted 'Game of the Year' award in 2012 at Spike's Video Game Awards. It also won 3 BAFTAs for best story, best mobile and best handheld. Don't let the point-and-click genre fool you into thinking this is a slow paced puzzle game with tedious 'click on special bits until something happens' gameplay. Clever use of timed actions gives a sense of urgency and you feel like you are being taken through a journey of life after an apocolyptic event, not thrust into a series of mundane puzzles. It's not a difficult game by any means and will not appeal to everyone but if you love the Walking Dead TV show or enjoy the comic books, grab this game as soon as you can.
