In 1842, the nursery rhyme entitled Solomon Grundy was published. It is about a man called Solomon Grundy who lives his entire life in his first week of birth. The lyrics are as follows:
Solomon Grundy,
Born on a Monday,
Christened on Tuesday,
Married on Wednesday,
Took ill on Thursday,
Grew worse on Friday,
Died on Saturday,
Buried on Sunday.
That was the end,
Of Solomon Grundy.
This does not involve Zombies, which in my opinion is just not right. In order to correct this blatant flaw, I set my mind hard at work and came up with something really rather brilliant - I call it "The second, Solomon Grundy".
Solomon Grundy,
Born on a Monday,
Christened on Tuesday,
Married on Wednesday,
Took ill on Thursday,
Grew worse on Friday,
Died on Saturday,
Buried on Sunday.
Rose again the following Monday,
Ate brains on the Tuesday,
Continued on the Wednesday,
Met resistance on the Thursday,
Shot on the Friday,
Headshot on the Saturday,
Burned on the Sunday,
And that was the end of the second,
Solomon Grundy.
The Solomon Grundy nursery rhyme does not involve Zombies. This will not be tolerated! I have taken up the challenge of bringing Zombiism into somewhere it has never been before and amazed even myself by creating a new, radically improved version. Read on in awe.
